This is a good question. I know the bible talks about the Sabbath as a day of rest, but I’m not sure about a day of worship. Unless it was just interpreted as a Holy Day is a day of worship.
Exodus 20: 8-11 is the commandment and it talks about it as a day of rest.
Matthew 1:21 “and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.”
Mark 6: 2 another time he is teaching on the Sabbath.
Luke 4:16 , Luke 6:6, Luke 13:10, …
From what I found at crosswalk.com Jesus taught in the synagogue on the Sabbath and he healed and worked on it too.
So I would have to say no. Jesus did not teach we should go to church on the Sabbath.

Christ should always be our example in all things. And there are numerous examples in the Bible that show both Christ and his disciples going to the synagoge on the Sabbath. Luke 4:16; Acts 13:42,44; 18:4.
Isaiah also states that those who keep the Sabbath will receive joy in the house of prayer. Isaiah 56:2, 6-7
There is a benefit that comes from praising God with others which doesn't come any other way. We need to express our faith both publicly and socially, as well as in the privacy of our hearts. And the Sabbath gives us that perfect opportunity to come together as a church body to worship, study, and pray together.

The Bible reference is the 10 commandments.
"Keep holy the Sabbath day." That was Jewish tradition.
After Easter, & Christians were kicked out of synagogues,
the Church adopted Sunday as the holy day.

No- "you are the body of Christ and his members". 1 Cor 12-14 The Church is not a building- it is an organism of real believers. When you examine Jesus's response to Peter (I think Matt 12) it was the seeing of Jesus as the Son of God the Christ that ushered the church into the disciples reality. (Not the error of the Catholic church as Peter as the 1st Pope)

Christ seemed to teach us to speak our minds without worrying who got angry. He called a spade a spade.
He taught by example to disrespect and force religious leaders into wanting to kill us and conspire. He taught against wanting political power, like they all did. They used their political clout to trap him and kill him.
When he healed a blind man on the sabbath, they determined to arrest him for working on the sabbath. The sabbath was always a joke anyway.

No, He did not.
There is no reference where Christ taught Christians to keep any day like a sabbath, or taught that any day was more suitable than another for communal worship.
