Not all ringworm looks like the classic ringworm pictures. Treatment for it has to go on for 2 months to completely heal, so you do need to keep treating it.

I went through this last year after getting it from my cat. We both used a generic tube of Miconazole which is a 4% solution. It healed up in a month on my cat, and 8 weeks on me. The pharmacist said humans do take 2 months to heal.

Ringworm is a fungus expressed by a circular rash, it pretty much sounds like ringworm to me. Are you honestly going to listen to your BARBER over a doctor or for that matter anybody on Yahoo Answers? Take them to a different doctor.

It is probally an staff infection known as MRSA. It is going around like crazy right now and is very contagious. Might want to take them back to the doctor. Only way for it to be treated is with IV antibiotics. Make sure they wash their hands.
