It really depends on what you want out of a sport.

Softball is a team sport, so if you want the camaraderie of a team, that might be the way to go for you.

Golf (like softball) requires hand-eye coordination but is fairly individual, so if you want to improve upon that, go that route.

Additionally, both softball and golf are outdoor sports, so if you want to enjoy spring weather outdoors, pick one of those options.

With skating, you'll likely be indoors and you usually start in group lessons, so there is a chance to talk and practice with others at your same skill level like with softball. If you advance enough, skating will likely become an individual sport for you unless you get involved with a synchronized skating team or something (which, incidentally, is a lot of fun). Also, while skating doesn't involve hand-eye coordination like softball and golf do, it does require skills you probably haven't practiced before in any other environment and takes some getting used to. You'll be standing on a 1/4 of an inch blade on ice with a little toe pick on the front. It's challenging.

I can't really tell you what to do, but as I myself am a figure skater, I know which one I would choose! Keep in mind, though, that if you fall in love with it and want to continue, it can get expensive. It's definitely worth it, though, and if you can work through the weirdness of gliding on ice with blades strapped to your feet, you might just find that you enjoy it.

Good luck and let us know which one you choose! I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, honestly. :)

umm well since you posted this under ice skating :) most people who are gonna answer are ice skaters so they will pretty much pick ice skating. Which is definetly my favorite sport...
Its your choice, go to a public skating session, play some golf, get together a few friends and play a game of softball then decide which one you like best. I reccommend skating though... cus its awesome

I think it depends on what you would like to do. Personally I'm a little biased to ice skating just because I love skating. You will need to decide which one you think you would enjoy more and which one you want to do more. It can be a hard decision, but decide which one you would like more and go with it or if possible you could do more than one. Good luck!
