i have been working for minimum wage at work and this is at a very popular fast food restaurant. i have been working there for almost 5 months and its always been minimum wage. 3 new workers all my age started working there no more than a month ago and they are the opposite sex. they all got a higher wage than me, what should i do? who should i go to?

Talk to the store manager about it, maybe he forgot or there could be other reasons they get paid more.
Perhaps they are working a different shift or doing a different job?
Are there evualations? (most all reasturants have them)
Maybe tell the store manager you're ready for an evualation and a raise..

#1. You are not supposed to know your coworkers wages.
#2. You are not supposed to disclose yours
#3. They could be able to work more hours than you at different times than you, and thus deserve to be paid more.
#4. It doesn't matter how long you work at a place, what matters is how hard you work and how much you take your job seriously.
#5. There should be other factors that can make you think it's gender discrimination.

You can complain to your boss about it. or H&R. Ask about your peformance? I'm really not sure but maybe its sort of like the a new customer deal where new customers get some special package while old customers don't. I mean you've been working for 5 months and a has changed in 5 months since now they have to compete with business for employees.

you should mention it to your manager if he refuses to bump you up, you should go to your district manager, if they ignore you get a lawyer.
you should make sure that the only reason these people are getting more than you is because of their gender. If they have more experience than you that could also warrant a higher wage.
