How much Waste Vegetable Oil does a restaurant dispose of in a week?
I want to have a car run on vegetable oil and would like to know how much oil a restaurant can give me in a week?
1 gallon? 5 gallons? 25 gallons?

A full change of my fryers used to take about 180 pounds of new oil to replace the old. What that comes out to in gallons, I can't remember. And I changed oil every 2 weeks or so.

it varies with the type of restaurant. fried chicken places, such as popeyes and kfc use about 34 gallons of oil a week, vs. 7 gallons a week for burger joints, and such crap.
