When does the show battlestar galactia come on? Is it a good show or is it just stupid?

It comes on sci-fi, but it depends on your local cable or satellite subscription.
I don't like it. The new BSG has won some acclaim, but I am not a fan. I guess I am just a purist and a relic. I am partial to the original BSG, and I was really looking forward to this new series. I was, that is, until I saw how they DESTROYED the original concept. I mean, the characters were mixed up and wrong, just plain wrong. The sound effects suck, the music score sucks, and they totally destroyed the premise of the first series.
If you have never been a fan of the first series, you probably won't care one way or the other. As for me, I'll stick with the cheesy, original 70's version.
