Cheating is doing something that would hurt the other persons feeling or harm the relationship if they were to know about it.
If you are doing something with another person that you would not tell your SO about.. It's cheating

I think that cheating is when someone you are with is willingly flirting, talking, or leading someone else on. There are so many different kinds of cheating. If a guy is emailing a girl and talking dirty to her even though they aren't touching its still cheating. If its something your boyfriend/girlfriend has to hide then more then likely its not good for your relationship and esp. if it includes a 3rd party.

There are many types of couples out there. It just really depends on the type. What the couple finds intimate is probably the thing not to do with another person. Kissing is the most common, sex is the worst thing to do with another person that you are not currently dating. But to some couples it may even go in the extremes. If they're insecure, then wanting them is like a pre-form of cheating. It all depends on the type and the level of insecurity your partner has.

Yes, it is cheating to kiss another guy. If you were dating a guy and he kissed another girl, what would you call it?
Talking to someone of the opposite sex is fine...its when you take it further that it becomes a problem.

In my opinion, cheating is anything that you do that you wouldn't do with your boyfriend/spouse/etc. standing right next to you. So if you're "just talking" to a guy, but you know you're being flirty and you'd never talk to him that way if your bf was next to you, in a sense...you're cheating. If it causes guilt....it's cheating. If you wouldn't want your bf doing it to you (ex: "just talking" to another girl in a really flirty way) then you shouldn't do it to them. That's my opinion....everyone is different though I guess.

Okay, they can hug another girl and talk to another girl. They can even go out to the clubs with their friends and flirt with other girls just for the sake of having fun that night. But when they start touching another girl, holding hands, giving intimate hugs, kisses, 3rd base and home, that's cheating.
I dont believe that checking out other girls is cheating, however, because I know that I'm going to be looking at a hot *** guy walking down the street even while I'm walking with my bf. But if he's confident in himself, he'll know that I'm interested in him cause I didn't leave him to talk to the other guy, hahaha.

i think that it all depends on the people in the relationship, some people are really the geleous type and just talking to someone that you want or that wants you is cheating, for other people it doesnt matter as long as you dont sleep together. some people can never forgive cheating and other can move on and forgive someone for cheating it just all depends

There are differant kinds of cheating, talking to someone, wanting to be with someone, and such with out sex is an emotional affair. Sleeping with someone is an major affair. And kissing, holding hands, telling each other you love them this all means they WILL have an affair just give it time...

Yes... It is.... Cheating is having feelings for someone else.. (feelings that you should only have for the person you love)... And kissing is something you do because you have feelings for that person. So, it definitely comes under cheating....

Cheating is doing anything you wouldn't do if your spouse/partner/boyfriend was standing there, because you know it would hurt them. That means anything you do on the internet, phone texts, meetings, etc.
