The answers that you got from the Muslims who answered are excellent. I would like to give an answer myself that might be more simple and at the same time thorough.
There is a sahih hadith (saying) of Prophet Muhammad (saws) where he said that everything should be covered except this and this,,,and he pointed to his face and hands.

We Muslim women need to cover all of our body except our hands and face. Our clothing needs to be loose and not see through. We shouldn't wear make-up or perfume in public nor in the presence of men who are not muharram ( muharram are those men who we can not marry).

Sister, please feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have.

When a girl reaches puberty, only her hands and face should be seen, except in the presence of close relatives. Longsleeves, pants, long skirts to the feet are acceptable. They should be loose as to not draw attention to certain areas of the body, but not so loose that you look like you are lost in your clothes. Makeup if any, should not be noticeable, and perfume if any should not be distracting as to catch people's attention. Clothes should also be clean and well kept.
It is best to get food from an Islamic grocery store, but if one is not available or you are not able to reach it, the second best is jewish kosher food. Again if that is not available, then you can still eat meats but you should ask Allah to bless it before eating. No pork, no alcohol. If any food, even as the smallest ingredients contains pork or alcohol avoid it and find an alternative.
If you have questions or need advice please feel free to message me.

do you know why the American chicken is haram that's because they shock it with electricity then serve it so technically its not giving all the blood inside it out so you eat dead things its harmful that's all and in Islam haram to eat dead things and about mac. fries that's because its contain ham fats and that's also haram and about the clothes we ordered to wear something cover us except the face and hands you can wear a fashionable stuff but cover what you ordered to cover and not also too tight i do that and i feel fine but what i want to say to you read more on the Islamic religion and you will find a reasonable reason behind every order and may be you'll find not but in every religion there is something with no reason that's a test to show how you are obedience to god on his law and orders believe the Islam is clear and simple but search and read and you will find an answer to every question in your mind
take care
