you need to exercise the lower back just as much as you do the abdominals or you will create a serious muscle imbalance. the majority of people do not realize this when they focus constantly in the abdominals in an effort to get rid of stomach fat. the muscle imbalance between the mid-section and lower back is the primary cause of injury to that area.

Keep track of how many you do, you may need to leave a day between work outs if you are sore, to allow your muscles time to recover. Doing them daily should not be a problem, unless you are doing way too many. It can be hard on the back, so if your back hurts, may want to do exercises to strengthen your back also.

If you can get tired easily, then I recomend you to do it once a day. It is actually very healthy to excercise every night. If you are used to pain and you are very strong, try to do it at least 10 times a day.
