Christianity (believing in Christ Jesus). It is a relationship, faith, and way of life.
I don't know any other way to answer your question.

No, Christianity is NOT a cult, even though there are a lot of similarities! Any time there is pomp and pageantry, there is a similarity to a cult.

In practice, most (if not all) religions are cults. However, a cult is not a bad thing. A cult does not mean a group of evil people like media and other sources like to pretend it is. A cult is a sect of people under one belief. All relegions are a sect of people under one belief.

Yes Christianity, mainstream is still a cult. What cults do is 'brainwash' people into becoming believers - such that they discard their common sense and adopt the beliefs and ideas of that cult. The use circular logic and rituals (repetition of dogma and rhetoric [eg. Only if you believe in Jesus Christ will you be saved!]) to convince people they are the one true religion. Such as citing that the bible is a Holy Book, and it is the Word of God - therefore it must be true. Encouraging faulty logic.
All religions do this. A true religion will not allow you to disregard your common sense, but encourage you to use it instead.

Just look at summaries of the world religions, and then decide which of them is more believable? And which ones sound like fantasy? Or even science fiction - lacking the science, and containing the fiction.

it depends how wide of a definition you accept as cult.

Most cults have a very centralized authority and are very devoted to living the cult life. I would say no.... since most Christians are not that devoted.

Well, they were a cult, but they more-or-less accidentally managed to take over the Roman Empire, which propelled them into a world religion bigtime.
