In simplest terms, one would invert the sequence of pronoun and verb so that the declarative "you have" (or "tu as" if familiar or singular and "vous avez" for plural or polite form) becomes "have you" (or "as-tu"/ "avez-vous")

Do you mean using "Est-ce que" ? Like: Do you havea pet? can be "Avez-vous un animal?" or "Est-ce que vous avez un animal?" Hope this helps.
