I am an ex-scientologist. There are actually 2 answers to your question.
From what I saw, they believe in God but they are non-denominational. They let people stay whatever religion they want. Mostly they offer self-help courses in life things. Communication, studying, fighting peer pressure, getting off drugs, and some deeper counseling on things that are blocking a person in achieving their goals. As far as 10 commandments, not from god. But they do have some pretty strict rules. Ive seen people kicked out of scientology for things that other religions wouldnt have paid much attention to (like a 19 year old dating a 17 year old girl).
On the other hand, there is the Xenu stuff. Supposedly that is secret info that only the top scientologists know so 99% of scientologists dont believe it. That says that Xenu caused alot of problems to early man but he is now locked up in a volcano so you are on your own. Stop praying and learn how to handle things yourself. Basically the same thing but with a weird twist. Like I said, thats all supposed to be "true but secret" which is why I guess I never heard it when I was there :)
If you want some neutral sites to read about Scientology (or any religion) I would recommend these...

I actually just got through about half of L Ron Hubbard's book on Scientology. Most of it seems way out there. They use a lot of their own terminology for things. The do believe in a supreme being, but do not subscribe to any religious structure. From what I got, the believe in the reincarnation of the sole. The most interesting thing I read was how they believe that the sole can dwell within the body either in the skull or upper torso. Or it can dwell outside the body. The ultimate position is just out side. The idea seems to be that the sole can control the body without becoming consumed by the things of the world. However it is possible for the body to repel the sole. Such is insanity. Kinda interesting stuff, but not for me. I took the book back to the library.

It's about self-development. They don't worship any deities specific to the religion- it's sort of up to the individual as to whether or not you believe in a god or not. No, they don't have 10 commandments- only Christianity has that.
It's a religion, not a "religion". Show some respect.

I may want to be bowled over and surprised that they have got lengthy gone to such lengths, yet after having watched the way they take care of critics, all i can muster is resigned disgust. they are the richest, maximum influential cult contained in the international. to guard their billion greenback market i think they could manage to almost some thing. and may I say too...Congratulations! How the hell did this question very last 2 hours? they ought to all be off at some Thetan administration tutorial or some thing, eh?

they do not worship God, as far as l could see in my brief encounter with them. they worship themself. they teach you self improvement but they do not help others. this movement was founded on the teaching of the late L.Ron Hubbard he died in 1986. but his cult church lives on teaching people how to talk their way out of any situation.they talk around problems without giving any solutions. these people are the most arrogant people l've ever had to deal with.
John Travolta and Tom Cruise are just a few of their many members.
Also L.Ron Hubbard was a science fiction writer so any thing he has writen has got to be bullsh!t

L Ron Hubbard was a high level member of the O.T.O. which was headed by Aleister Crowley at the time, it's the Aleister Crowley stuff mixed with science fiction... Hubbard was a science fiction writer before he declared himself god and created scientology, and got filthy rich off of it.
