Believers over the centuries have been saying we are in the end of days, the end times. Are they mistaken? No.
The reason being is that time for man is not that with God, for God has no time constraints. So the last 2000 years of a world that is just barely over 6000 years old could be referred to as end times.
So how soon before the end should be the question. And the answer is quite simple. Israel is the clue.
The time clock started ticking when Israel became a nation.
For it is written that this generation shall not pass until all is fulfilled that pertain to what it written of things to come concerning the tribulation period.
So how long is a generation? I believe it refers to the lifespan of a man who was born in the year Israel became a nation which was 1948. I believe the average lifespan in that year was approximately 72 years. Yet, it says this generation shall not pass and that could mean before the last man born in 1948 dies. So the tribulation could be anytime within the next several years. So if the last man living would live to be 100, 2048 could be possibly the end of tribulation.
Yet, I don't believe it will come near that. For it is written that if God did not shorten the time of sending his Son, there would be no flesh saved. So I believe we are very near.

Fear of going to hell is the only way they can operate. They are after your money. I guess you can buy your way into heaven.
That is as condensed as I can make it. I could use reams of paper but all it would do is soften the words.
Religion is a lazy man's way of feeling he is entitled to 10% of what you work for. If fear fills the plate; then fear it is. Advertisers do the same thing. Only with them sex fills the plate; so guess what sort of advertising prevails.
I was:
Born Christian
Raised Christian
Ordained Christian
Stabbed in the back by Christians
And now consider myself an Atheist.

Actually according to theit faith it is going to end
Much like many other faith's out there that believe in the end of all things
You will get comments about how its all a lie and other things but when it comes to why they say that it is simple it is what they believe. As long as they are not forcing you to believe it let them say it

Yes, people that say they know when the END is - are scaring people. Not all of any group do this - please remember this. It is good to question the few that do this. The quiet majority do not scare people.
Peace.
