They are still here. It's just that they don't play outside much anymore, they are all inside now. To find one, just follow your nose.
Seriously, if you are looking to buy one, ask around and you will find a farmer who raises pigs. He will sell you one about any size you want.

There are loads around here in large fields with lots of arks. If you want to buy a live pig you need to have enough land to keep it on and appropriate facilities for feeding, keeping it healthy, 'happy' etc. If you want to know how much they cost, you could contact a farm website and go to a local farm or look at the livestock prices on the Internet as a guide.

Is this a serious question? It's hard to tell from the answers. Usually they are listed under livestock in the classified ads or something like "nickel nick."
The cost depends on whether you want to raise it yourself - you can probably get a pig at weaning time for $50 or less.
Vietnamese potbellied pigs and other miniatures are listed under pets, and the price is extremely variable. Sometimes you can get one at a pound for abandoned pets.

Do you have a specific breed of pig you wish to purchase? What size do you want your pig to be? What sex do you want to buy?
I have almost 50 pigs, I have 11 sows, 7 gilts, 8 feeder pigs, and 3 boars....
Depending on what area you live in you can look in the newspapers under livestock, look in the nickel ads, go to the various pig sites and look up breeders...Google breeders of pigs + specific location and you should be able to find who, what, when, and where all of the pigs are.
Local large animal veterinarians might be able to tell you where some breeders are...you could also go to a livestock auction or even call some auctions yards...
And as for pinkhamster99's answer....what part of this planet do you live on? DEFRA is in the UK and I hope the h$LL I am dead and gone before the USA gets as stupid about their agricultural industry as the UK seems to be....the latest USA governmental garbage that is trying to get off the ground is NAIS....National Animal Identification System...where every animal has to have a "chip" imbedded under its skin so the animal can be traced to its origin should it turn up sick somewhere and on someone’s food plate.
So you want to buy a pig....I have several for sale. They have not gone thru a sale yard where they could contract many diseases, they have been vaccinated, had their iron shots, males have been castrated, and all have been wormed....and I did this all myself without any government intervention even....I ordered vaccines over the internet, I received them the next day, I went to the local feed store and bought worm medicine and iron supplements, and have administered all care to them without some ministry or government idiots telling me how or who I can have do this to my animals.....lets here it for FREEDOM!!!
Anyway, email me, if you wish, give me your location and I most certainly could point you in the right direction, that is unless you don't live in the USA which in that case move here so you can buy and sell what animals you want and even eat them if you want. I am for People Eating Tasty Animals!!!
BTW I sell my 8 week old piglets that are for eating for about $65.00. The 4-H & FFA stock that are crossbreds or purebred and show pigs sell for more.
And I have also had as many as 3 piglets that needed special care running about my house with my dogs....they do house train easily but they are hard on electrical cords....

Try a local smallholder...he'll save you one from a new litter once its weaned. About £30 UK. The pigs are disappearing as there are now so many rules and regulations that its not worth the hassle to raise them on a small scale.

You can't simply just go out and buy a pig anymore, it's not like getting a dog. There are strict rules in place to monitor the movement and welfare of livestock.

I can't remember the exact details but you have have a registered premises before you are legally aloud to buy a pig. I think you will have to get in contact with DEFRA (they're incompetent, so I wouldn't rely on getting a pig before March).

You should really have said where you are cos this question has turned into a piss take i'm afraid.A butcher would be your best bet(they'd know how much and where to get 1 if they couldn't). Good luck sifting through the answers.

You do not say where you are.
In Norfolk UK a butchered pig costs 140 GBP cut into sizes ready to freeze.
