If it's unprotected then you're obviously risking catching an STD. Other than that, you should be fine. Anal sex doesn't lead to an inability to control bowel movements of anything like that, contrary to popular belief. Also, I must point out, if you feel ANY sort of pain then you HAVE to stop - you don't want him doing you any damage and you definately don't want to end up bleeding :/

The skin there is very sensitive, tearing can happen a lot, since there's no natural lubrication there, you should definatly use some to minimize the damage. Long term consequences though, no it's safe.
Assuming you are both STD free and preferably using protection. Things like HIV can be transmitted easier by anal than normal sex due to the way the virus attacks.

YES--internal walls are not very forgiving when anything is rammed into the anus--bleeding and the embarrassing hospital visit results from it. Even protected with a rubber, fecal matter can cause the man and woman horrible infection and fever--even death. Then the muscle that controls elimination can be stretched and fecal leakage can rsult--nice to walk or sit and poop drips out. Tell your man NO or let him go to find another woman who doesn't care about her life.

Well, you can still catch a STD that way, and I heard that you can actualy get pregnant, although it happens pretty rarily, but I dont really believe that.
