I haven't worked out in over a year but I didn't lose any muscle. Myabe I should not work out more often.

actually,u hav lost a lot of muscle strength,but maybe not mass.i work out every other day,but if i skip a fwe workuots,i wont b able 2 bench press or somthing,the same as i did the last time i did.look at arnold schwarzenneger,or however u spell his name....hes all flabby now.he used 2 b huge,but im not saying hes not strong.he def. has 2 hav som muscle still,whether it b powerful or not,but u get wat im saying.

You lose about half a pound of muscle a year if you don't work out. Which is probably why you didn't notice.

It takes a while to lose muscle. Youth will keep it longer.
There is no such thing as permanence of looks esp musculature.

It's genetic or it's just all the excess energy you have that is being stored.
