I thought a good gift for the soldiers could be an mp3 player, but would they get messed up by the time it gets to Afganistan? I want your advice.

Most items, if you pack them well, arrive in fine shape. Just be sure to get a sturdy one, that is well sealed. I know most soldiers take good care of their things, but the conditions over in the middle east are not the best, and dust is quite prevalent. Check the product reviews before you buy!

it's a great gift. just make sure you wrap it well, lots of padding, newspaper and bubbles, i sent a friend a friend one and i made sure i added lots of music.
