Did u know that many cheesecake packages says don't defrost in microwave? But why? It says thaw in fridge before serving. Why can't it be microwaved?

Please explain..thx

i have ruined a few pieces of cheese cake because i wasnt patient.... first one i really over cooked... the second one thawed right and i taste horrible... like the inside of the freezer! so if you can be patient please do!

If you put it in the mirrowave the outside will melt and start to cook- a cheesecake is really more like custard or ice cream. Be patient.

come on now, you know that cheesecake doesn't belong in the microwave. there's no way. it wouldn't be cheeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeecake anymore. the cream cheese from the cake will start to melt to nothing.

s u p e r s l o w and a s u p e r l o w setting, like ten second intervals. You dont want melted, runny CHEESEcake. Good luck.

nooooo... it will get runny and melt!! you can let it set out on the counter, it dosnet take that long to defrost!!
