Sexual reproduction is common in plants. Flowering plants use two flower parts: the male (stamen) & female (pistil).
Some plants bear two kinds of imperfect flowers on one plant, male staminate & female pistillate, so are called monoecious like the Alder tree. Other dioecious plants bear complementary imperfect flowers on separate plants. This is common in hollies that are either female pistillate on one plant so produce berries or staminate and produce no berries.
Flowers with both fertile parts are called perfect. These include apples, plums, & tomatoes.

Asexual includes runners like strawberries use.
It is a defining weed trait to be able to regrow from a root fragment like a dandelion.

Some trees readily regrow after being cut down. Poplar or aspen regrow from their roots.
Apomixis is rare in seed bearing plants because this is the formation of seeds without fertilization. The plant grows from the unfertilized egg (Taraxacum species) or pollen (the Saharan Cypress).
Kalanchoes produce tiny plantlets along the edges of their leaves. These drop & grow.
