totalling approximately $500. the only reason i do not want to talk to this person is because I used to have an intimate relationship with her, never technically dated. I just stopped talking to her because i thought what we were doing wasn't good for either of us. so i just stopped talking to her i know when i go over there she is going to ask for an explanation something i know i don't have. i already tried to get my friend to pick it up for me but when he went she just said no and asked him to leave.

Definitely try to get at least the camera back- I know I would. Call ahead of time and let her know you're stopping by. If your friend hadn't already tried, I'd say just stop by unexpected.
As far as the avoiding confrontation goes... so, from reading your explanation, it seems like you just ended things with this girl and left her hanging with no explanation. If you had such an "intimate" relationship, then show her a little respect and just tell her it just wasn't working for you. If you were that interested in someone and they just up and left, you would appreciate a little respect, too, right? And after that, grab your things, and leave it in the past.

Part of the problem is she thought because you were sleeping with her you WERE technically dating...and she's pissed because you just stopped talking to her...which was immature. You say that neither one of you was good for the other, why don't you just tell her that...tell her you are sorry for being immature about it and ask her for your stuff back. If she says no, you could go to small claims court if you really want to get the stuff back that badly. In the future, you need to talk to the people you are in a relationship with...it sounds like since you didn't want a serious relationship, you made that choice for her.

Well, Don't keep hiding from it. Get your stuff, especially that digiatal camera. When you get it, just get it and bounce, let her know you don't want anything to do with her. Or just tell her the truth of why you don't talk to her. Then you wouldn't have to worry going over there again. It's now or never.

Sounds like she has effectively taken your stuff. You can leave it or call the police and ask them for an escort to pick up your stuff. If you do this she will have a report file against her name and will show that she has problems. Its the safest way to proceed.

why don't you try talking to her first instead of just stop talking to her completly, just so it won't be awkard if you see her again without getting your stuff back.
