This happened to me recently. I ended my relationship with my boyfriend of 6 monthes as it wasn't working out between us. Then for like 3 months after that he became really obsessed with me and wouldn't leave me alone. He would always text me and ask about me to my sister. Somebody told him I was going out with another boy and he started texting me demanding me to tell him if I was going out with anoher boy or not and he got really mad at me (Which was really stupid as I wasn't even going out with him then!)

To make him go away, I just didn't reply to his texts or answer my phone when he rang. I told my sister not to tell him anything about me and I blocked him out of my life (It was harsh but it needed to be done.) I would ignore his emails that he sent me and if I saw him somewhere I would ignore him. Eventually he left me alone and I haven't spoken to him for about 4 months now.

I advise you not to tell him where you are going so he will stop following you.

Hope this infomation helps. Good Luck. xxx

if you are alarmed, threatened, annoyed, or feel harassed or stalked by his activity i would recommend getting a no-contact order at the court house or report this activity to your local police. It protects you, and lets it very clear to him you are no longer interested. usually they are granted as an emergency for two weeks, and then both parties will meet in a domestic/family court with a comissoner, (not usally a judge) to determine if it needs to be extended to a year. If he does not show up its automatically extended to a year. A normally sane guy would get the message, if he continues an full term order may be very necessary.

Hi! I would change my number (mobile and home phone) You can contact the police if it get's out of hand and they might find a new place for you to live or try to keep him away from you! Maybe just move somewhere nice if you don't have many attachments where you are and have a new live! Good luck! xxxx

Once again, do you have any older brothers or older male cousins? If so get them to convince him. Some guys just don't get it and need a little help in understanding to leave people alone. He'll get the message.

Make it clear that no matter how much he pesters you, you are not going to get back with him.
Tell him to leave you alone.
Ignore him completely after that, and hopefully soon he will get the message.
Also, change your number, and don't give him your new one.
Good luck.

Just let him know that following you around isn't gonna make you guys get back together and that you need your space and instead of regretting your decision to break up - its confirming it!
