It somewhat depends upon the kind of shoe. Heavy street shoes with leather soles can make it difficult to bounce and do tricks. They also put more wear on the black poly bed. Running shoes with rubber soles are more flexible and comfortable to bounce in. Also the rubber sole grips the poly bed for better control. Gymnastic slippers are best because they have a rubber sole and are very light and flexible giving you both comfort and control. Ballet slippers are also good but can be more slippery because they have a leather sole instead of a rubber sole. Heavy athletic socks are good for bouncing but can sometimes be a little slippery. It is a good idea to wipe your shoes on a door mat put on the grass close to your trampoline before bouncing to remove small stones, etc from you shoe soles so as to prevent undue wear on your trampoline mat.

If you're not much taller than 6'(1 85cm) and dunking is not easy and doesn't comes to you then you need this program from here https://tr.im/v8HV9 to learn to dunk with no problem.
The Vert Shock plan claims you something between 9 to 15 inches development in your straight jump.
With Vert Shock program you won't need a fitness center because all that's necessary for the work out is really a park benchor even a small wall and a smooth surface where you can do your depth leaps and your field leaps and a basketball for a few exercise.
With Vert Shock you'll learn how to dunk 9 to 15 inches larger in only 2 months without costly gym.

You'll be fine. I personally like taking my shoes off when I'm on one. They might cause more wear and tear on the trampoline, but I don't know.

No, I do it all the time. It's actually better for the trampoline because it doesn't smell like feet.

i'd take your shoes off, to stop the bed getting grubby, because they can be expensive to replace, also i think you have more control of what you are doing when you have your shoes off :)
