I'm sooo mad, my mom is away at my aunts and my stepdad is left incharge. I made a mess in the kitchen and hes been yelling all day. After I claened it up he told me I was grounded and I'm lucky he doesinit whip me. I hate him so much. How can he treat me lik this?

I can relate!!! My mom is always working extra hours to pay for us, while my stepdad sits at home. what i do when he tries to ground me i tell him why i dont think that i should be grounded, and then i leave. he will get the point.

Please calm down and think this way . Your dad had certain failures and he is blurting out his frustrations on you.Matters will not ease up if you too retort or rebel.You have to remain with him for a few years and your mom will not escort you always.You may start looking after the daily needs of your dad.Help him with everything in the house. He may be searching his dress,watch,match box, shoes,socks,shaving set,etc.etc.You be always ready to ease his life. In due course of time, he will become fully dependent on you.Yelling will stop for ever and the atmosphere in the house will turn pleasant

I know this might be hard to understand but adults have alot on there mind and sometimes they take it out on the simple things and the ones that they love because they know they will be there when things blow off .go give him a big hug and GOD will give you one back
