i am building a prepaid meter and i need a relay/circiut breaker that can be controlled by a micro controller to do the switching
it must be very reliable
any help?

Contact the major meter manufacturers. Most of them are now offering remote disconnect in their automated meters.

Wireless two-way communication allows the utility to disconnect customers for non-payment and then restore service all from the office.

The relay used in the device is rated to interrupt the full capacity of a residential meter.

you probably want a 'safety relay'.

To disconnect a large load is going to require a contactor.

Reliability is tricky. Just how reliable is 'very'???
