Its really up to you if you want to continue. Long distance relationships are hard work (although one hour is not a lot compared to other relationships). I've been in one for 4 years now, he lives in Germany and i live in US. It takes a lot of communication, trust and honesty. If you are having trouble becuase you can't see him in general then try using a webcam so you can see him online. Plan so that you two can meet up half way if you dont' want to go the whole hour. I see my bf one month out of the year and we use that time wisely instead of complaining about how little we see eachother. We know that the distnace won't be a factor forever so that helps too. Letters are another good idea they are more personal and its fun getting a surprise in the mail. There are a lot of things you can do together that doesnt' involve actually physically being together but keeps you connected. Email me if you have more questions. good luck

I'm not a big believer in long distance relationships, but I AM a believer in LOVE! (: Since you're both finishing school, make time to visit each other on a regular basis. Agree to visit each other once a month and stick to it! (Or whatever length of time you can afford to do; every 2-3 months, whatever.) Send him thoughtful surprises periodically, without appearing to be a psycho-stalker. LOL! What do you think about agreeing to date others UNTIL you're out of school, then get together and see where it takes you? College is just such a big playing field and this also gives some room for not getting hurt. Personally, I wouldn't be able to do the long distance thing again. At least it never worked for me in the past.

dont wory just keep ur trust and love all togther, if u realy love him distance shouldnt be a problem, iv been in 2 long distance relationships, 1 lasted for 2 yrs and the other for 1 year and a half, so anywayzz.....if u can really make the time to see eachother maybe once a week? or whenever u r free, long distance relationships will give u space and when u are not seeing eachother u willl have time do to ur own thing, and when u do see eachother it wud b like ur in love all ova again, in tht time when u dont see eachother u can speak over the phone or see eachother by webcam.

Skype is great for long distance relationships, call him a lot, I like to email my boyfriend slideshows of pretend dates and stuff. We email and write a lot of letters to each other. He was three hours away, but now he's only 1 1/2. It's great! We get together one weekend a month cos of school and work. Enjoy the freedom from not seeing him and relish the moments you have. If you want it to work, you'll find a way.

I've never had experience with a long distance relationship, but this is how I'd see it.
Visit him as much as possible, and when you do, make it special and always let him know that you like him a lot.
Talk on the phone as much as possible, keep in contact in some way.
And stay up to date with what he's doing, his social life, etc.
And...if you're old enough it probably would help to send nude pictures....hahah.
But anyway, good luck!

wow a whole hour. how will you ever live? sorry hubby in iraq so an hour would be wonderful to me. if you two car about each other and really like each other then an hour away shouldn't be any problem. its an hour. it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. where i live most people drive atleast 30 mins to go to places so doesn't seem like its that much of a problem. it be a bigger deal if it was 3 hours away but an hour come on. thats nothing.

it's hard, i did it for 3 years and it can be lonely and sad at times. Make sure you talk a lot. Hang out with your friends as much as possible. Try to spend your time with each other wisely not fighting.

if i was you i wouln't date him anymore because you say you barely see him, but he still wants to go out. If he like you or still wants to be with you he would at least try to see you more often so try to talk to him and tell him how you feel
