You need to get a good lawyer and tell them what happened. ALso if you have a court date. Call the city attorney ant tell them what happpened and have a parent along with you. Tell the lawyer what happened when you did get arrested.

If you can't talk with with a lawyer, and you need to go to court, tell the judge that there were no sign stating that there is no tresspassing, or priviate property etc. Hopefully wheh you explain things to the judge, your case will be dismissed.

I wonder if there is more to this story. If this was the first time you had ever been in trouble Id be questioning the cops and asking them why there isnt a no trespassing sign up.
Your parents need to get a lawyer though if what youre saying is all true. The cops could have arrested you because either THEY were doing something illegal OR they are watching the place for reported illegal activity which could pose a danger to you and your friends.
Now if you have been in trouble a lot before this then I can UNDERSTAND WHY your parents are behaving this way.It just makes things look worse for you.Although the cops do sound like jerks in this case, I know there are ALWAYS 2 sides to EVERY STORY.

I would be pissed at the police. You are a minor and you did nothing to deserve it. If there is no visable signs saying no trespassing then they have no case. As for the violence you might need evidence for that. The justice system usually takes the police's side and not a teenager unless there is proof. Good luck and I would talk to your parents in a calm way about this. Maybe if you sat them down and talked to them like an adult and told them your side they would not be so mad. Ask them for assistance in getting through this and not punish you for something you did not do. You must understand partly of what they are going through. They are just mad at the situation and not you.

If I was you I would write a huge long letter to your parents. Tell them exactly what happened. Tell them that you feel that these kids are a bad influence on you and you are never going to hang out with them again. Tell them how sorry you are and that you will forego your holiday as part of your punishment. Tell them that you'd like to get a job to work off the costs of the trouble you are in. You will need to do some community service so be thinking of what you can give back to your community. Seriously change your life, your friends, go to church and get involved in a youth group. Learn from this experience that you will never want to be arrested again.

One more thing, go out to the area that you were in with your parents and take video to show there isn't any posting of no trespassing. Do this quickly before they post something. Take this to court with you or give it to your lawyer. Also, do some research on the property and find out who owns it.

When confronted by the cops, your best bet is to keep your mouth shut and do what you are told. If you want to register a complaint, do it later.

If the cops are such bad guys, why are they the first ones everyone calls when they need help? You couldn't pay me enough to put up with the crap that they do.

Thats using excessive force, police not allowed to do that. If you all got bruises and cuts during the arrest, you can all lay complaints together. They will be investigated, probably a slap on the hand and sent back to work.
You mate should have just said, 'No sir, I didnt know it was illegal, oops'. I guess he learnt his lesson. Respect the police and they will you.
