I put stuffed animals in my daughters cot at about 11 months and thought it was fine......
A few weeks later we were in bed and i heard a huge bang and she started wailing, she had piled all the animals up, climbed on them and fallen out!!!!!
I took them out then and there!!!

My six-month-previous daughter has had filled animals in her crib ever on condition that she replaced into 3 months previous. they're small (there are approximately seven or 8 of them) and that i made advantageous I positioned them way on the different end of the mattress, close to the foot, so they may be nowhere close to her face. I sat all of them jointly interior the nook on the foot of the crib and that they have never are available in touch along with her, in spite of all the beating around she does. lol i'm a conventional-time mom and that i replaced into nerve-racking approximately all that too, approximately SIDS and smothering and such, yet I comfortable whilst i found out i ought to apply my very own elementary experience. do no longer positioned the filled animals on the top of the crib close to the place her head would be, and continuously make advantageous that the blanket or despite you utilize is faraway from her nostril and mouth. She is merely now gaining information of to instruct over so we will might desire to alter our risk-free practices measures quickly yet for now she's effective. She merely lies on her lower back and there is not any actual way she would be able to smother from the filled animals, blanket, or something. solid success! P.S.--i does no longer, even regardless of the undeniable fact that, positioned any super filled animals interior the crib; you comprehend, those that are as huge because of the fact the child. lol occasion: my husband's mom sent a substantial Christmas endure interior the mail; and that situation won't flow in her crib, as there is too lots of a risk of it falling over close to her and doubtless obstructing her nostril and/or mouth. I purely positioned small filled animals interior the crib.

it would be fine now, as long as the toy isnt big enough to fall on top of sleeping baby, i have been keeping baby pillows and blankets in my daughters crib from day one, she is 7 months now. i keep a pillow on one side of her and her camel stuffed animal on the other side so she doesnt roll too much, i just check up on her periodically and make sure that she hasnt moved the pillow ext, next to her face

Well, I'm sure you can, if she can move around well enough on her own. (as in moving her head and such, she doesn't have to be quite mobile, yet) Start with fairly small ones, but not so small that she can fit them in her mouth. On the contrary, a giant stuffy works great, too.

Its safe now. Just make sure whatever animals you put it don't have eyes or buttons or ribbons they can pull off, you know just make sure there are no choking hazards.
