Different brands of dyes have different names for the same color. So you are sure to get the color you want, take a picture of that color in to the stylist.

It depends on how bright a red color you are going for. A red with a brown under tone would be called auburn.

There are many different shades of red. Take her a picture or a sample if you are able-no name can describe any color exactly because what to me is red to someone else could be auburn or Vermillion.
