For starters, what are you eating? Maybe you aren't eating the right foods if you are continually hungry. If you are eating healthy, but just can't stop eating, that is an emotional issue. People eat of out boredom, frustration and to comfort themselves. Try to figure out why you can't stop. But if you are eating a proper amount, and just trying to stop eating entirely, that could have damaging effects. If you cut your calories too much, your body goes into starvation mode and will store all the calories you do consume.
But maybe you just need to make better food choices and start adding in exercise. Just minor changes, like parking near the end of the aisle in the parking lot, taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Things like that increase your calorie burning. Of course, add 30 minutes of continuous exercise a day. Start with just brisk walking, then move on to other things. Aerobics, or running or swimming laps.
Make better choices in the food you eat. Cut down on sugars, switch to leaner meats, like chicken breasts and fish. Switch to whole grain carbs- like bread and pasta. Salads aren't bad, but mosst people add dressings and stuff that make it more unhealthy than a cheeseburger. Also look at how you are preparing food. Cut down on frying, using oils and butter. Bake and grill items more to cut down on fat. Use low sodium (no salt) seasonings to add flavor.
Good luck!!

ive been trying this supplement called slim quick. its about 20 bux a bottle at walmart. it has an appetite supressent and that seems to help me a little. i have the same problem you do. i cant stop eating. but i noticed that if i buy healthy foods and make it simple, i will eat them more. use a bunch of plastic containers and make up salads and fruit and veggie combos. if its quick and easy ill grab it and eat it. its better to grab a container of cut up melons rather then a bag of chips. ill also take empty water bottles and fill them with things. tea and concentrated orange juice and apple juices. if i have a variety of things to grab and drink im less likely to grab a soda. im a mountain dew addict so im trying to find better things to drink then pop. i am not a water drinker. but if i bring water to bed at night ill drink it. wierd but atleast one bottle of water a day is better then nothing. i also carry those crystal light flavored packets at work with water bottles. i tend to use those more then buying a pop out of the machine. try a couple of those things and see how they go.
