allah sent down the koran to guide men and give them knowledge.lets see what allah says in the koran. koran 23:14 then we made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot we made a lump; then we made out of that lump bones; then we clothed the bones with flesh. most muslims say this hi-tech embryonic science. here we find a contridiction.21:30 man made from water k25:54 water 15:26 from mud 3;59 from dust and said be 19:67 nothing 11:61 from the earth 16:sperm drop. why did allah write this? koran 18:86 till,[the traveller zul-qarnain] reached the setting -PLACE of the sun, he found it going down in a muddy pond. some people like to say he went to the beach and and it went down in a muddy ocean. but here18:90when he took a road and reached the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom we had appointed no shelter from it. in the hadiths the sun ask permission of allah to rise again and then 360 angels carry it to the edge of the earth.

does the koran say if it contains a single error, then it can't be from god and is not to be believed?

Because they, the some people of which you speak, are Christians, or Buddhists, or Hindus, or Jews, or even atheists. That my friend is why. They just believe differently than you do.

And no matter what you say, if they have faith in their beliefs, as you do in yours, they will never believe any different.

I hope this has helped. But I strongly believe that you knew this all along. So here is you confirmation.

Peace be with you my brother in the struggle for the truth. What ever your truth may be.

The first problem in your argument is the Koran wasn't sent to guide men, it was sent to guide men and women. The Koran is a philosphy on how life should be lived by all followers regardless of their sex. Allah did not write the Koran. You are very confused, but one thing you have should learn is tolerance of other peoples religions. It doesn't matter what people believe in, what is important, is how they treat each other regardless of race, sex, or creed.

Science in the beginning was observation.
They knew basic biology.
Nothing about what is in the Koran, a marvel.
It's like drowning someone and writing it down for future people to read, then saying "See a thousand years ago Allah told us that we would drown in water."
Your logic is faulty.

You need right here and now an earthly Spiritual leader or head to guide you folks in the correct interpretation of these books. Otherwise everyone can interpret them anyway they want and no one is here to correct them when they are wrong. I am sure most of you do no interpret everything like Ben Ladin. But he can ask you all to follow him if you do not have someone else in charge. How do you distance yourselves from him and others like him? You need more oneness. Who can we believe among you? Even we are lost since we too could interpret your books any way we like also.

Why do the Catholics deny his name three times. Jesus is
God's name. And I know God. Dust is were we came and
dust we shall return because the man and women disobeyed
God's commandment. Another commandment believe
on the name of the son of God. That is the name we
baptize in. Which is also the name of the father and holy ghost.

"In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Compassionate".

All your name blame games were kicked in an open and live debate very unlike your ideal idol Ali Sina (cursed).

Asker keep asking answered questions, it means he is short of questions.

First, one does not need to be muslim or a native Arabic speaker to explain the linguistic part of that verse. It can be done with just a dictionary and any language version of Quran.I used the English version and a dictionary and here is what I found.

1-A sunset will appear depending on where you are to see it,if you are near a muddy pond so it will look ,if you are behind a clear pool,so it will look.
In that context, the person was on the bank of a muddy pond,so it will look so-quite normal.

2-I just cheked my English vesion and did found the word "rising" just after where you ended your verse, which is the same as "appear".And besides,we dont say the "sun appears",we say "the sun rises"

3-Wajada has two meanings in Arabic-
1- "found",
2-"found out" or "realized",
In that verse,it actually means "found out" or "realized",the same way we can all watch the sunset(we just watch the sun going down, nobody witnesses the phenomenon unfolding before their eyes at close) . So it cannot be "found",it must be simply "found out".

I checked the linguistic part of it and found nothing wrong about it at all.

Non-Muslims also don’t understand METAPHORS in the HOLY QURAN and say that this is error, somebody tell them that metaphors are used by those who are good in that language and who knows how to teach and who know how to make other understand, e.g.: poets use metaphors for their lovers as ROSE and FLOWERS. Now do u understand toddlers Non-Muslims.

Ex-Christian now a MUSLIM SCHOLAR "Yusuf Estes" very well said that Non-Muslims always bring the translation of Holy Quran and not the original Holy Quran when they are pointing out mistakes in the Holy Quran which is actually the mistakes in TRANSLATIONS & they say look I find a mistake.

The Koran was dictated by Mohammed as he was illiterate.

No Holy work was ever written by God but by men acting under his guidance. The one exception being the 10 Commandments.

I mean no disrespect to anyone by this it's just something to think and pray about.

Because it is a very ancient religion that has no basis in science of today.
But the way you judge a religion is by the actions of the people who belong to that religion.
What kind of people are they and do they inspire love?
