at present, I have one kitty cat. i do not somewhat comprehend what breed she is. She's darkish gray and white contained in the middle with little white paws. She looks a lifeless ringer for Totoro! i'm guessing American Wildhair? Randombred? Her call is Professor X. X stands for Xian, therefore. She is amazingly scholarly, has a level from "Tuffs" college. also, i can swear she is conscious precisely what i'm wondering on occasion. i love both cats and canines. muinghan: Now, what might want to be the priority if Henry IS gay? i appreciate gay animals. =) LOL. cute.

Both males and females do this. One theory is that habits like this and purring go back to when they were wee kittens. The kneading apparently was one way that kittens would try to stimulate milk production in their mom. The purring was to help them find their moms and vice versa before their eyes opened.

my male cat does this and so does my female cat. they were both charity cases. the mother of one of them died when he was 2 days old and the other was also taken from her mother to early. this is usually the case. they are absolutly fine however and there is nothing wrong with this behavior

cats do this as a natural thing. it is a way for them to get comfortable. they like to 'make a bed' so to speak.also, this action is a way for kittens to get milk from the mothers belly. we like to call it HAPPY FEET. it shows that they are happy and feel safe. they are greatly loved.

The pads of their feet have scent glands. As they knead with their paws, they are marking their territory as theirs and no other cat should come near.

It's a cat thing.
it's what kittens do to the queen's belly to get her to dispense milk.
Just something they do when they're happy.
