I used the cream today and left it on for maybe 5-7 minutes because it takes longer on me. Now my legs are red and burn really bad. Lotion stings and they can't be touched. Wearing pants even hurts. If you know what will help please let me know.

Thanks. I've used this product before and don't recall this happening. I can't even wear my socks at the moment. It took hours before it stopped some what.

Thanks. I don't have any aloe or baking soda at the moment sadly. We haven't bought any in a while.

The exact thing happened to me.. I tried Nair when I was younger and wiped it off before it even worked. Tried it again, and I had an allergic reaction. Here is how I think you might be able to tell.
-The arm or whatever part of your body that was naired will turn RED.
_Your skin will bubble or look as if it is bubbling.
-If your skin is bleeding that means you either used it too long or forgot to wash it off thoroughly.
-In science class this is what they call a chemical burn.
-Basically its a Body's reaction against a chemical.
-If not treated it could look really bad. I would show you a picture but some people have sensitive stomachs.
_If you leave it on long enough it could burn through your skin.
If you have SENSITIVE SKIN DO NOT Use NAIR!!
Because everyone is different
*** To get rid of the burn you might want to wash it under lukewarm water. (An equal mix of hot and cold water). For 15 min. If it still hurts tomorrow and looks abnormal go see a doctor or a clinic.

If you have aloe use that, if not and you can't get any do you have any baking soda?....if so mix about a tablespoon in about 2 cups of water and gently apply to your legs....and, not to be a nag, but don't use the nair again, that stuff is nasty. Afriend of mine got some in her hair on her head by accident and it fell out....it doesn't work, it's very toxic, and it''s a rip off.

Time is most likely the only solution but while the skin heals, you need to see a doctor for a remedy that won't make the burn any worse and prevent pain/suffering as much as possible. 5-7 min. is not much. Most say to leave them on for up to 15 min, so my guess is you are allergic to the product and should not use it again. You may need an antihistamine to deal with that as well, which is another good reason to see a doctor ASAP!

Oh dear.
Unfortunately, that's the very reason I don't use Nair: If the stuff will eat hair, it's sure to eat hide too.
Try aloe gel and cool water.
Good luck.

I had the same thing happen to me, only "down there". I had never had that kind of reaction before, but certainly will never use it again! I used aloe gel to soothe it, but it took quite a while to heal! Good Luck!
