First of all, he never actually died except physically, second, he is an integral part of the trinity, meaning eternal, timeless, In the Beginning The Word was with God and The Word was God.
Meaning Christ is life and breathes the life that lightest every man that cometh in this world. In the end all things even death and hell will be given unto him. Christ is the end of death and the beginning of life. The Alpha and the Omega

YES;
And said unto them,Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remissions of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
And ye witnesses of these things. [ Luke 24:46 -48 ]

I went to church with my wife, and I heard them singing He Lives Within My Heart.

I think maybe we've found some common ground here -- living in your heart is sort of like living in your imagination, unless I'm mistaken.

And yet all these church folks coming out of the woodwork to answer your question and praise Jesus, some of them actually think he exists --

It is only in peoples' imagination that he does...

Jesus was not the Christ - that part did not happen. That is a myth that Christianity perpetuated.
See the British documentary "Did Jesus Die?" that he did not die, but was near death, and was resucitated. He recovered and escaped to India, settling in Kashmir, where he is buried. He did have a family and died of old age.

This is the same as the Talmud Jmmanuel story - without referencing to this text.

Yes, no one has died, no not one. The body dies, but we are not body, we are spirit, housed in a body.

This is the basic truth that Jesus showed us, take no thought for the body. No new wine in old bottles, read Luke 11:24-26

Amen! Jesus is in my heart and life as my LORD and Savior. I talked to Him this morning and He answered me. That is someone I KNOW is alive and not dead. I hope all who read this will one day realize that only He can pardon our sins and give us Eternal Life and hope. He promises the proof of His existence when we place our trust in Him. I did, and I know that evidence. God Bless and let Christ be the pre-eminace and Life in your life. (Please see: 1st John chapter 5). :)
