Wow!! I am wondering what makes you ask!! No, I hope stalking has a dangerous sensation you can detect and then you can avoid that person. Maybe not on the Internet though. Stop communicating with that person and see what they do. If they keep coming after you then it's time to worry and take evasive action. Sometimes they don't realize they are acting like a stalker so mentioning it might embarrass them and they can stop bothering you and making you worry. If they are stalking you, more serious measures are required. I hope you don't have a real stalker. No one needs that.

True-Love can lead to stalking - if you already shared that love and is was taken away. But at some point it is not love anymore - but obsession and desperation.

Why?

Who do you love and want to stalk?

Yes and it is a line not to be stepped over!!! Stalking would have the same connotations as say, possessiveness and morally taking that person's freedom away from them without them necessarily knowing about it. Best to be upfront with the stalkee????

My first stalker was some fat chick in 8th grade.

I don't think its a "fine line" but a large gap, seems kinda creepy and of course disrespectful.
