...Assuming the baby lets you sleep, when you are nursing what do you do as far as a bra? I mean, it can't be comfortable sleeping in a nursing bra, but you can't really go without, can you? What do you ladies do?

instead of a true bra or nursing bra at night i wore a sprts bra. held the pads in place, was more comfortable (as I purposely bought it a little big) and easy enough to 'hike up' when needed to feed. I believe I probably wore one for up the first month with each kiddo, maybe less, supply and demand equals out pretty quickly and the floods are less frequent. Something that kept on hand (or on breast ;) was a small towel or cloth diaper and by applying slight pressure to the otehr breast while the first was being nursed from that usually stopped the flood (just needed to during let down, after the first few weeks)
That worked best for me. Best of luck!

I wear Mothercare sleep bras at night, which are pretty comfortable. I tried going without but I leak too much. They look a bit like a crop top, but have the same drop down cups as a nursing bra for night time feeds.

I know I didn't really have a choice in wearing a bra at night or not so I usually wore a nursing bra all day & night. There are also disposable nursing pads that you can buy. You can place these in your bra to catch any "leaks"

I never wore a bra at night whilst breastfeeding. But did need to have a towel underneath me otherwise I'd wake up to a flood!!
I never wore a nursing bra either just a normal bra. I found nursing bra's to uncomfortable and fiddly.

I have been nursing for 6 months and I got used to it. At first I couldn't stand wearing one at night but now It is uncomfortable without one on. You will need nursing pads too. And I would recommend nipple cream I wouldn't have made it through the first month without it! It gets better after that though so hang in there.

You have to wear a bra at night as you need to wear breast pads. Unless you want to wake up in a wet patch! Its irritating at first but you get used to it after a while.

I went without, as you say it is to uncomfortable with one on at night, BUT be prepared for you to have to put a towel under you when sleeping, as i tended to leak alot, especially when my son was laying in bed with me, and feeding!
My sons dad didnt call me daisy the cow for nothing!
