Has anyone ever cheated on their spouse or is it the other way round are you the person who has been cheat on.
what is your answer to this question why do you think people do it???

I've had boyfriends be unfaithful to me with one night stands, and I've once done that too. It's the worst feeling in the world either way round (though personally I hurt even more when I was the one who made the mistake). It's a good question why people do this if they are with someone they really love (of course sometimes the reason is because you're not in love).
I think there are loads of different reasons for it. It could be because there's something wrong in your relationship and you're not communicating properly, it could be because you want to end the relationship and don't dare say it, it could be because you're apart long term and missing closeness and sex, it could be because you're seriously tempted by someone attractive, it could be because you get so drunk you don't have any judgment (as someone else said, sex is a strong basic instinct), it could be because you're insecure and actually don't trust your partner to be faithful to you, it can be because of your own emotional problems and little to do with your relationship. And probably hundreds of other reasons.
Ongoing affairs I find more difficult to understand because of the deceit. I hope I never find out first hand why people do this!

Terrie Marie R, I was on the recieving end and being a spirit filled true believer I have no doubt that the enemy knows his time is short so he is trying to take as many souls with him as he can ! The devil gets in many ways and causes hearts to harden and good memories fade ! But all cheaters will suffer an eternal hell so in the end they will pay !

from my experience all iknow is that men and women cheat for a reason and most of that reason is they are not happy in there relationship that they are in and they are looking for something more or something to excite them.in my experience an old bf of mine cheated with is ex gf and i dont think he never really gotten over her so when she called him he went running back to her.of course that hurt me but that's been years ago.and i also did the cheating i wanted out of my relationship which i learned the hard way you never cheat on anyone just to get out of a relationship with someone because pay back is a *****.

They prefer a mixture of partners
Hate sticking around with just the one
There partner isnt pleasing them in the bedroom
It could be a number of reasons
Fallen in love with someone else.

they obviously don't love there partner enough, i had it done to me by my ex, i could never forgive him, i love a man now and find it very hard to trust him 100% as i am now insecure but i would never ever cheat on him

A person who cheats has a flaw in themselves. They cannot find perfect happiness so they hurt others to try to get it. But it is a neverending search.

lots of reasons. stopped fancying partner, thrill of someone new, belief that nobody will find out, more liberal society = more opportunities, etc etc etc
human sex drive is very strong for a reason - we'd die out otherwise

fed up with same old hole again. If you had identical twins in everyway after so long it would still be exciting to do the other. Sad but true.

I dont know why people do it, its a disrespectful, hurtful, selfsih thing to do and isnt fair on anyone.
