I think that the guy that you do want to notice you never does. He is always caught up with his friends or noticing another girl. The guy that you never think would notice you or the guy that you think is weird or geeky, notices the little things you do each day. He notices when you spend forever trying to look good. He knows and he pays attention to little things like that. Really, I think that the guy you have a crush on never takes the time to get to know you for who you are. They just judge you on your appearance or the way you act in school. Nobody deserves a guy like that. Not all guys are like that, but the ones I know are.

Yeah they notice if you're taking too long fixing up.

But on a more optimistic note, guys do notice when a girl "looks better than usual." It's just that most guys aren't quick to point it out either because they're shy or they think it's none of their business or they simply don't feel the need to comment.

Sometimes guys fail to notice altogether...but most of the time their minds will be going "hey, you look different today...prettier."

All we care about is if you look cute or not.
What we look for is a cute face, and a good body. If you take forever in the morning, yea we notice, and you look nice. but we don't say anything because it seems too awkward, like the girl would think we're a creep if we complimented them.

Oh Yes they do...... I have two guys at work who notice immediately if I have a hair cut or they take time to compliment me when my hair is rolled vs. the normal quick blow dry.

My man notices immediately - painted nails with new polish/new shoes or compliments on the outfit and always something about my hair or make up like that lipstick looks good sweetie...

Well, Hollister Babe, it really does depend on the guy. Not trying to defend the ones that don't notice, but if you always look great, how do they know what you went through to get that "special" look. I always tell my wife that she looks great and that all her efforts in the morning only enhance her natural beauty.

So, yes, some guys realize and notice, others, not so much.

If their eyes are open at all, they notice! When a guy gets to an age where he mellows out a bit, slows down a little, those are the blokes who can see.

Does her hair different? Probably not.

Wearing make up or not, absolutely.

Keeping him waiting for a 45 minutes and making them late when he spent a week's pay getting tickets for the show SHE wanted to see? You bet. I ended a relationship with a beauty queen over that one.

My boyfriend likes me as I am. He likes me in my bummy clothes and no make up versus spending 2 hours or more in the bathroom getting ready. And, yes, guys do notice... they really are not that dumb.
