The barister said the devendant had a 'Verbal exchange' before the assault. The judge said "What exactly did the defendant say?" The barister ajusted his wig and gown, looked the judge right in the eye and said "You fu*king wan*er your honer!"
I wanted to burst out laughing but that would have been contempt of court

lol...the exact same thing happened when i did jury service...myself and a couple of other jurors tried ever so hard to not laugh but i guess we didn't try hard enough...got a very stern look off the judge...lol

I was on jury duty a few years ago. The case was a hit & run, a lady's car was hit in front of her house by a drunk. The officer from the scene was on the stand. The lawyer asked him if he knew the lady who's car got hit. He replied "Yes sir" He then asked how he knew her. He replied "I frequent the place where she works" The lawyer said "where is that?" The officer looked up like he was in pain & said "the donut shop"! Even the judge laughed out loud!

Yea I probably would have laughed and once the Judge Looked at me I would say "Yea, and If was in your place Id laugh too, after all he did say your honor" lol

i think that if i didnt laugh i would probaly burst because it kinda just comes right out of me one time in class the teacher saud something and i burted out laughing so hard i started to cry and shake and had a coughing fit then every onee else started to laugh and the teacher gave me a super dirty look

I think the judge would have simply asked the jury to be quiet, especially if it happened only once.

when i was on jury service, it was a murder trial.
there was absolutely nothing to laugh about.
i bet some of the trials are worth going to, for the laugh though
