I had success with this - a friend who likes cats told me to try it. I bought a jar of very hot chili peppers and mixed the juice and peppers into a liquidy solution. Added some crushed very hot little red peppers from a plant, too. Poured solution around the stoop and stairs and the route to my window where cat was coming and bothering my dog and peeing. Left lots of pepper seeds so they would get on cat's paws. This is a good solution since it repels the cats but doesn't harm them permanently (anti-freeze? come on, be humane!). There are repellant sprays at the store, but I liked the idea of hot peppers since it was a natural solution. Cat Has Not Returned.

This sounds really mean, but my old neighbors cat use to leave me little 'presents' on my front porch I was nice at first and just didn't make a big deal about it at first but finally it got to the point where the cat left a dead mouse/rat/bird/bat at least once a day for over a month I started getting pissed because 1. I hate dead animals I can't stand it, 'cause I love animals too much. 2. I didn't enjoy picking them up. so I went to the grocery store and bought a little spray bottle and some vinegar I filled it up with 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water and when ever I saw the cat bring me a gift I'd spray it with the water sh!t and after about 1 week it stopped.

Since you obviously don't want the cat around, instead of acting like an idiot, call the animal shelter or the humane society. They can either give you a live trap for the cat, or they might set one for you. The cat is just showing her affection towards you, its a shame that you have an animal showing love by bringing you presents and you react by "screaming and yelling" at.
As for the cruel moron that suggested using anti-freeze, you have no business answering questions. You are the lowest type of human being and the reason why animal cruelty laws were created, you have been reported.

LOL!!!!!!
Be GLAD you have a rat killer in the neighborhood, would you rather have the rats in your house?
Gross as it is, take it with grace and use a paper towel or a shovel to move the carcasses into your garbage bin for a better disposal. A dead rat is one more out of the breeding population and a safety comfort for you.

Don't scream at the poor thing! When an animal presents something to you that is hard for them to obtain then that shows affection and that they love you. My cat used to put dead rats in my closet because he wanted to present it to me. Just pet the cat and be nice to it. It will eventually stop. It is probably seeking attention.

Kitty is complementing you, actually. Leaving you gifts of this nature is natural - pardon the pun - for kitties. It's how they show love and concern for their kittens, and to leave you with such gifts is her way of saying "I like you". I know, I know - disposing of said corpses is a pain - but just be calm and patient; kitty will get tired of it before long and will find some other means of entertaining herself. By all means, don't mistreat or otherwise hurt the cat. It really isn't doing it to be malicious.

Kitty is bringing you presents. You should be honored kitty likes you. The rats are getting bigger because kitty must have found a nest and is killing it off one by one. Tell kitty thank you.
Do NOT put out antifreeze.... it will kill the animal.

Cats usually do this to show their catch, and are proud of it. I don't know how to get them to quit, it apparently feels affection towards you for some reason, does it live in your neighborhood?
