Many/most of the miracles and stories of Jesus were already on the books/written down attributed to other pagan gods and philosophers. Just start by learning about the Roman religion and you’ll see the similarities.
You have to remember that the book of John was written 30 years after Jesus’ death and was written specifically to bring together all the different christian sects that got started up. Learn about the book of John to find out for yourself. Oh, why John, because it is the only Gospel that proclaimed Jesus to be a God. In the other gospels, Jesus always talked of himself as the Son of Man.
Good luck,

I think it's probable that some of the miracles credited to Him were actually adapted from other myths or embellished by the authors of the gospels in a misguided attempt to increase the impact of Christ's message. However, I do believe that He performed miracles and healed others to some extent.

The story about Jesus walking up to a fig tree "expecting to pick up figs" when it was out of season for figs is a credible story! the cursing the Hell out of the innocent fig tree until it withered and died is kinda hard to believe, but what the heck!

why do you all keep asking this question. ? iT'S BEEN ANSWERED IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS THAT IT'S STARTING TO GET BORING ( ONLY ANSWERING NOT THE SUBJECT ) please read the Bible. go to church, and study. That's the best way to find out anything. If the Bible says it's true then I believe it with all my heart, God has helped me enough and answered my prayers enough that I know He is real. If His word says it' then IT'S TRUE.
