Yes it is your DUTY to vote. I am a Christian. I want separation of church and state..it is best for both.. I believe in evolution. I don't want religion taught in schools.

I'm not a Christian, and I can show you what the book of fables is entirely based upon, and prove beyond a doubt that it's a bunch of zodiac sun worshipping junk, but I still don't buy into the evolution thing. I find the people that preach the evolution thing as annoying as those that preach the creationism crap. There's no real proof of either. Darwin himself was an english blue blood inbred that had like 10 inbred kids. That's how the royal people keep that royal bloodline blue. That's the genius behind evolution lol.
Nobody knows how we got here, and does it really matter, we're all stuck with each other, there's a lot of more important things to worry about. I think both sides are selling a fairy tale story...

As most people know, separation of church and state is nowhere in the Constitution. Do your research. In fact, the majority of the founders were CLERGY! What IS in the Constitution is a very simple statement that the GOVERNMENT cannot establish a "national" religion. The founders wanted us to be free to worship as WE chose, and they certainly did NOT want the government having ANY hand in determining that for us. They left it up to individual STATES to make the decision as to whether THEY wanted THEIR state to have a "state" religion. As you can see, that never happened.
The 1st Amendment to the Constitution CLEARLY tells us that, "Congress shall make NO law respecting an ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, or PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF ...," going on to give us right to free speech, etc.
What's happened is that activist judges perverted the language of the Constitution, helped along by the ACLU, atheists, and a society leaning more all the time toward socialism. Now, even the word "Christmas" is an offense because of these nuts.

Yes. Vote. Someone recently told me to look into Ron Paul. CNN, from my understanding, abused him on a question and answer presentation. Makes me wonder about the stockholders, heavyweights, and special interest money ties over at CNN. The question becomes how rigged are these so-called unbiased and fair debate shows. We must all be careful in this age to look further than what appears on the surface of all things. We all need to do our research and vote.

I'm a Christian, and I firmly believe Church and State should be separated. Any religious following is about choice, and if we proceed to trickle religious trappings into the government, which effects everybody, not just Christians, it could be argued successfully that we're pushing it down people's throats. If it gets removed, God is not going to smite this country. He knows he has followers here, and he doesn't need his name blazened on everything to know it. If he did, I think he'd be a pretty poor guy.

Hell is not real..Think about it..We live in a modern society full of educated people..Why in the world do some people believe in a mythological place when there is no evidence of it other than a book written thousands of years ago..

I think that and I have no such position.
The only thing scary is unbelievers shoving their atheistic philosophy down our kids throats and trying to suppress religious expression.
What was intended by our forefathers was one nation under God. That is why God is written about so prominently in their writings. The declaration of independence says "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with inherent and inalienable rights; that among these, are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
It doesnt say we were endowed by nature, science, chance, but OUR CREATOR whom they knew to be God.
You atheists need to learn your place, which is in the minority.
