NO!!!!i hate when ye hear of storys of animal cruelty!its sick some people sould be shot for things lik that!!!NOT A FINE OF € 1000-5000 AND THE DOG BE TAKIN AWAY!!! its to late for that when the dog is horrible abused the dogs or cats will never be the same!!! they sould be locked up and put away!!just because animal cant speak out and report it,it dosnt make any less important as someone harassing a person!!!

well Animal Cruelty should NEVER be taken a dog never suppose to deserve such cruelty...A dog should not deserve being set on fire! a dog dose not know from good or bad (Excuse the spelling)

That you would even have to ask that kind of question leads me to believe that you're either not too smart OR you're just trying to get a rise out of people.
Let me try and put it to you in the easiest way for you to understand: Do you deserve to be set on fire for being human? I imagine that you're suggesting that because animals (dogs) aren't as 'intelligent' (which is debatable) or on the same intellectual level as 'we' are (collectively) torture and cruelty are possibly acceptable ways to treat them?
Well, should we torture people who are less intelligent than others or are low on the intellectual ladder?
Take yourself for example: your question (other than being obtuse and extremely offensive) shows an extreme low level of intelligence and zero intellectual capacity. In fact my dog probably has more sense than you do, so what do we do in this instance? Shall we set fire to all low functioning human beings? How about, for example, people born with mental retardation? Should they be treated cruelly? Is it justifiable to be cruel to those people who are less intelligent than others, like yourself? Should YOU be set on fire?
Also, just so you know, animal cruelty is against the law and if it's against the law ... well, that should help you with your answer. Cruelty and torture are never acceptable, ESPECIALLY when it comes to defenseless animals, who are at the mercy of human beings anyway.
I don't know why I've even bothered answering your question because it makes me probably about as stupid as you for asking it.

Do you really need to even ask that question, a kid could tell you that a dog as a right to life. Why on earth would anyone want to set a dog on fire purely because it's a dog, that's just sick. We don't live in the dark ages anymore, people aren't burned at the stake as it's considered inhumane and barbaric, that should tell you everything you need to know.

There is no justified reason for anyone to be cruel to any animal. It is usually the mentally sick, demented or low self esteem people who feel they are superior to animals just so they can get off on the cruelty. Proving to themselves they are tough enough to beat up on the helpless.
The man who beats his wife will also kick the dog.

Just how stupid can someone be? If you have one ounce of intelligence you will know that no, it is not okay to set a dog on fire. Of course it's cruel. Would you like someone to set you on fire so that you can experience for yourself just how much agony that can cause.
