Actally Park City doesn't get the most snow in Utah. It is Cottonwood Canyon ski areas, I think in this order, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude. I believe they average close to 500 inches per year. That's forty feet of snow. Incidentally, there is an easern ski area Jay Peak that due to it's location not far from the great lakes that gets 350 inches per year, more than many western ski areas and almost double any other ski area in the east.

Hillbilly, get over yourself!! Don't be such a hater. Take your rage somewhere else. Can't we all just get along?

Utah gets tons of snow, whether directly in Park City or Little/Big Cottonwood Canyon! (they're right next door to one another!) Plus, Park City is much more convenient & faster to get in & out of, due to the fact that there's a 3 lane frwy. The Cottonwood canyon area gets really backed up with traffic and is a slow commute in the morning and at the end of the day. If there's an accident, you can be sitting for hours.

The snow is great in Utah and why not ski for free and take advantage of the great deals Utah has to offer?

Mt Baker in Washington sets thee record, great terrain, great boarding, great skiing until late spring. They used to be open until the 4th of July for the Slush Cup, good long season. For a better resort experience, Crystal Mtn, 140 miles south or Whistler 100 miles north.

I'm sure it changes from season to season, depending on the winter.

A couple years ago Alta got 600+ inches throughout the ski season. Who gets more than that?

Alta has the most snow and it is also the lightest because it comes over from the desert. I have been to Alta twice now and both times they have got storms consisting of more than 2ft.

My guess would be either Alta or Snowbird. The averages are usually around 500 inches per year.

To "Chelseia": What the heck kind of answer is that? You sound like a Park City Chamber of Commerce commercial or something! Geesh!!!!

Mt Baker, Washington. A guess, but I'm pretty sure it is right.

Have a wander about this site - it has a ridiculous amount of information.
