When I first was saved i would just stand there during worship. Sometimes I would close my eyes but I wouldn't really let loose, I guess because I was just scared and embarrassed. But now, I have a much closer relationship with Jesus and I don't care who is stand beside me because to me, it's just me and God in the room. So now i spin in circles, fall to ground and dance around like a maniac lol but I don't care because I'm worshiping my God and He loves it.

There in no one of The True Christian Faith who has not fallen into some behavior that someone else would concider "hypocritical"... no one of The Faith would make the claim to be "perfect"

Hypocritical is saying one thing and doing the complete opposite. I think what you're really asking is if you feel worship is inauthentic in respect to our inadequacy in the face of the holy Almighty God. Of course it is. But that's where grace comes in: "Grace, grace, wonderful grace, grace that is greater than all our sins." (lyrics from the hymn "Wonderful Grace")

When I worship, I just try to put aside my selfish thoughts and feelings and listen for God's voice speaking to me. Worship is all about Him, not us.

Absolutely not. God wants you to come to Him just as you are. As you get to know Him better, you change and grow. If you're not growing, that is evidence that you don't actually know Him.

Nothing hypocritical about admitting that I was not perfect, and that now I'm better than before, but still not perfect.

Everyone has bad past behavior. Christianity is about slowly growing away from these behaviors. Christians are not perfect, they just have a better idea of what perfection would be and they strive for it.

Of course they fail, no one is perfect.

Oh yes! But I talk to God and ask him to know the truth in my heart. For a long time I really gave very little thought to God and my need to give thanks and to pray. I've learned over the years how important those acts are, so while it may seem hypocritical, I truly mean it when I give thanks and beg for His blessings.
