I remember learning in Sunday school that each gift represented something that God has given us...

I know that the partridge in the pear tree is Jesus on the cross... and the 2 Turtle doves are the old and new testament, and the 4 calling birds are the 4 gospels. But I can't remember anything else. Does anyone here know? Thank you!

How romantic, I cannot believe of something larger than your strategies, so persist with the ones chick!! The notion of Christmas embellishes for the tree may be candy, love that thought as you'll finally come to be with plenty of decorations that constitute your years in combination. I might pinch that thought myself.

Wow. It's amazing what people can make up to fit whatever they want, and then believe that it's "the truth behind the story" - take a look at the whole "candy cane" thing, for example.
