Christians are not usually in a funny mood when they tell you this, so I just quote bible verses at them.
Matthew 7: 21 “ Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father in heaven.”
This shows just because you claim Christ as your savior is not guarantee or salvation. Actions do count.
Galatians 5:22- 26 list the fruits of the spirit. I follow that list as a Wiccan and just because the bible says witchcraft is evil doesn’t mean that my witchcraft is. King James was afraid of being poisoned and the Greek work for witchcraft come from the word poison. Anyhow, they only knew of evil witches and did not believe in good witches. I believe in good witches because I know it the person that does good or evil, not the magick.
And there are many who call themselves Christians and are on the bad list too. So nobody’s perfect.
Proverbs 8 The spirit of God as a woman
Matthew 22:37 Greatest Commandment
Luke 6:37 Judge not
Romans 13:10 Harm none and Love is the law.
1 Corinthians 13:4 love is
1 John 4:7-13 God is love
I found using the bible against them tends to shut them up.

Actually, it's not just non-christians who get that line. I am a Priest in the Anglican Church International and have often been told I'm going to hell because I don't believe as a particular group does.
I normally say that it won't be a bother as the (name group they belong to) will be between me and the flames.

Steve N is right and so are you. There are many confused christians because the "Word" is always interpreted individually, and some fail to do that, or they twist it to represent what they want it to mean. A true christian will not condemn or cast judgement on another because somebody fails to believe the same as them. They will look at cultural and individual factors first. They will also bear in mind that God gave us Free Will to choose as we believe.

How is it going to be Hell for me unless you're there to tell me that I'm "going to Hell" every five minutes?
Seriously, a place where I get to be free from all of the uptight, arrogant fundies like yourself could not be called anything but paradise...even if it does involve fingernail removal, pitchforks, and eye gouging. I long for the day where I can spend eternity in a lake of fire, and not have to listen to anyone preach about hellfire and brimstone any longer!

It depends on what they say. If its simply "Your going to hell!" I askif they mean with one "L" or two? (Read the lore on the Norse Hel. I'm Norse Heathen Recon)
If they use the whole, "If you had a friend who was drowing wouldn't you save them?" I say "But if your the ONLY one who see it because it's not really happening, then it's just a psychotic break"
Let's see, I have a lot of them. Oh another one is "Honey if I'm going to Hell, trust me, not believing in Jesus is the least of the reasons."
Just depends on what ever hate they spew at me. If I'm in a really snarky mood I tell them to go away or I'll hex them. *eye roll*

I have two things I say, depending on the situation:
"With all the rock stars in Hell, I think they'd throw better parties...so it's all good!"
and
"I'll save ya a seat."

I do not have a clever or a witty response.... I simply tell them that Judaism teaches us that ALL moral people merit heaven, regardless of their religious beliefs, affiliations, or lack thereof....

I tell them that they are entitled to their own opinions and beliefs, but that I also enjoy the same rights as them.
I prefer to have a decent talk with them, getting to know their views, and letting them know that even when I disagree with their views, that doesn't mean that we have to be enemies.
Guess what? It works. I have many Christian friends, and friends of almost every known religious belief.
