I use Natural Balance, canned and dry for my cats. Their chicken and liver canned is the only "flavor" that does not contain any fish meal - the turkey, indoor and ultra do. So I also use Wellness, Avoderm, Lick Your Chops.
I like to spread my "risk factor" around so I use a lot of the quality brands and rotate them. I do a raw meat diet too and I can always feel that is safe for my cats as I know the quality of the meat source and has no additives I don't choose to give my cats.

Yay! Always happy to know that there are another great owner out there who have decided to fed her cat appropriately. Wellness Core and Natural Balance are both excellent food if you must feed dry. Wellness Core is grain free so if this is what you want, that definitely go with it. Just be reminded that although a grain free diet is the best, not all cat will agree with it. There are some cats who absolutely can't tolerate a 100% grain free diet so make sure after feeding it, you monitor your cat's litter box habit clearly. Some symptoms to look for is chronic diarrhea, smelly stool, flatulence, and excessive bloating. If any of these are present, it is likely that your cat is not suitable for a grainless diet. Good Luck!

if this is the one you are refering to.. it looks good..
but there are infact several BRANDS that use the words "NATURAL BALANCE" so I am not sure which you mean?? DIck Van Pattens? Nutros??
I did a search and found a link that I posted below it is titled "Natural Balance pet food tainted with melamine, FDA says"
anyhow you didnt say what country you are in so its very hard to know what to reccommend you..
look for HUMAN GRADE INGREDIENTS
and any food from grocery or Wal Mart etc are guaranteed to be CRAP!

I work at Wal-Mart and Natural Balance is one of my top sellers with breeders. It is made by Purina and has every thing a cat would need. This is a vet recommended brand FYI
HOWEVER if you want a shinier coat try adding some flax seed oil to the cat food and make sure you use a good shampoo.

natural balance is an alright cat food. Innova Evo is better. It has the highest protein content of any cat food, and it is grain free(cats are carnivores, and have zero need for grains). They make amazing canned food too.
