Hi, well the main reason no one buys Apple computers is its price. Its too expensive for its hardware. A PC with the same price has a million times better hardware. Then there r some people who r gamers and they require Windows. Some people don't like being stuck in one world for example Apple Mac owners have no choice but to use whatever Apple offers them whereas on PC's u can do whatever u want. Some people like to have their own custom built computers so for them buying a Mac is useless. Most people who do want to use Unix systems but not buy a Mac use Linux. I have a Macbook, Leopard is great, but its not something people would just run after, its all a matter of personal preference. I hope I helped.
Good Luck!

Price is a huge reason, as is configurability. I just spent $900 on parts to build my own PC, and I was able to choose my own motherboard, with the exact chipset and features I wanted, and combine that with the RAM, CPU, video card and other parts of my choice. Apple computers are very expensive and there are very few choices available. They are also difficult to get parts for and to get repaired.

well dell and pc are the most popular and are wat you see commercials for every day in fact i havent seen a mac commercial in .... uh.. ever..... and windows is also the most popular and besides the fact of popularity, dell etc in other words normal computers, seem to be simpler, if u read an installation manual for a computer game there will be windows users, with common easy directions that we all know, and then theres the mac directions that may be harder for ppl who are familiar with the windows process.

Mainly cost, availability of software, and being compatible with other computers on network or in office. This is especially true if you do a lot of work at home but need to interface with your office computer.

They do buy them, if nobody bought them then there'd be no company in business selling them and your question wouldn't need to be asked.....so by asking it you almost answered it yourself.
