Im a 15 year old girl. I use the tanning bed quite often and lately i have noticed that my nipples are cracking and then today one of them started bleeding without me doing anyything and now it burns. I dont know if this is caused by the tanning bed because of getting sunburns or a sign of breast cancer.

most likely not cancer but: a) stop using the tanning bed! and b) see your doctor.
P.S. if it was cancer it would likely be skin cancer, not breast cancer, breast cancer would not be manifested on the surface of your nipples

No doubt, sunburn. You overuse it I'm afraid.
Two reasons for not being cancer:
1. you're too young. Even familiar breastcancer begins only at the age of 20-25 years.
2. cancer in an early stade doesn't hurt. You say yourself it burns, that is not cancer.
So don't be afraid, nothing bad happening here. Lower your use of the tanning bed please., or at least take a brake of a week or two.
You do know that overusing the tanning bed has it's risks too... besides skincancer after years, your skin gets older faster... You don't want to have the skin of a 60 year old woman, when you're 38., huh?

Usually breat cancer has to do with the breast cells under the skin, not the skin itself. You should probably go to a doctor and get her to take a look at the skin though, the cracking skin sounds rather serious. And try a moisturizing tanning lotion, instead of a tanning bed. It may help to nourish the skin and would keep your skin out of the bad elements.

Your skin is probably drying out from to much tanning. You do know of course a tanning bed is like the sun, you can get to much UV from tanning also.
To many of you young girls are foolishly getting way more tan then necessary.

I suggest you slow down, use a minerals lotion and, see your doctor, I won't be surprised if he tells you the same thing.

Don't ask questions like that on here, your going to get some nasty answers, see your doctor for something that could be serious.

My guess would be that it's just a sunburn and your skin is drying out. If it continues, I would check with a doctor.
And, not to preach but stop using tanning beds. There is no reason to do it. Take care of your body. Because it may not be breast cancer, but since you are so young you are at a huge risk for skin cancer. Your skin cells are so sensitive, especially at that age. Be smart.

Probably the tanning, but I would go to a doctor. When I use to tan I would put sunscreen just on my nipples. They are very sensitive because they're rarely ever exposed. I can't believe you waited until they got so bad that they are cracking and bleeding...

It's probably just from the tanning bed. Sun burn more than likely. But definitely check with your doctor ASAP. Might want to lay off the tanning beds...your body is telling you something...best to listen. Good luck!

Probably lumps inside the breasts may be an indication of breast melanoma. If you are worried then see your surgeon. Little lumps may also be pimples or blocked pores on or around the nippes. Surely they're cysts (which isn't melanoma) or zits. Nothing to fear about, but see your physician in case you are involved.

Sounds like a sunburn to me but it wouldn't hurt to ask your doctor. Try sunless tanner, because tanning beds are addictive and dangerous.
