how do u control siblings that argue and talk to each other rough?

when my kids are together they argue, pick, tease, tell each other to shut up, yell one act like he have anger issues he get mad quick and think that some one is picking on him (like he takes us the wrong way or something) and the girl acts like she is jealous of the brother. and i try to resolve the issue and it just frustrates me and i tell them to "just stop with all of that and if they do it again they have to go to their rooms and come out when i say so" and that happens and its the same thing over again!! what should i do iam so tired of it

I make my kids hug when they start that. Neither of them like it. If you give a consequence for bad behavior it will stop. Sometimes we need to increase the intensity of the consequence because they are not working. Eventually if the punishment is harsh enough, they will stop.

They sound like they are doing it to get your attention! Just don't give them any attention for it. The minute they start the arguements, send them to their rooms, time-out, etc... Keep doing this until they realize they are not getting negative attention. When they DO act nicely towards eachother, even if its a short moment, reward them with praise, and even give them something special like allow them to stay up an extra 1/2 hour, etc...

You sit them down all together and sternly say that you're tired of the bickering, that they need to start being more mature and that if they keep on arguing and fighting things will be taken away from them (like cellphones, computer privileges, etc).

maybe a little more control, than you giving now will help both. If they start this arguing with each other and you try to stop it and it don't work, give both and little spank on the butt. You will see it makes a differences.
